Kathleen Kuehn is a Senior Lecturer in Media Studies in the School of English, Film, Theatre, and Media Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Her research focuses on the relationship between digital media/technologies, privacy, surveillance and a second line of research on cultural labour. She is the author of The Post-Snowden Era: Mass Surveillance and Privacy in New Zealand (BWB Texts, 2016), amongst numerous other articles and book chapters, and is currently taking a short hiatus from surveillance studies to write about women in the craft beer industry.
